Is the explanation somewhere in files which I missed? I also understood that with proper ending we are becoming a humanity successor and legacy, but still. So what?! Human kind decided to kill everyone on the planet for *some* reason? So then I was thinking, that it's some kind of global virus, maybe extreme climate changes or something like that.īUT THEN in one of files (it was a text file if I remember correctly) there was a piece about some kind of suicide.
What actually happened to all people on Earth?Īt first I was thinking, that maybe there was some kind of comet or asteroid coming to earth to destroy them all.īut then it was mentioned that some people survive more and some survive less. But there is something I don't understand (or didn't noticed it's being explained anywhere):
I get it that plot is suppose to leave a bit 'hole'. I have 3 out of possible 4 (I think) endings: for passing the gate, for becoming the messanger and for ascending the tower.
